wide world of podcasts prepare yourself for your new obsession. With a similar format to talk radio, podcasts usually include a host or hosts discussing all kinds of material.

we guarantee there are at least 50 podcasts about it, with new episodes coming out all the time. Trying to figure out which of those podcasts are good

There has never been a better time for podcasts. Though the format has been around for a couple of decades now, it's only in the last few years that they really hit their stride. You might say that we're living through a golden age of podcasts

The Daily is a daily news podcast and radio show by the American newspaper The New York Times

The Weirdest Thing I Learned This Week:  Have you learned any new, super interesting and kind of weird things to share with your friends this week? If you tune into PopSci’s podcast, you’ll fall down a rabbit hole of strange happenings and facts that you can fascinate/disturb all of your friends with! The hosts are Popular Science editors, who at the start of each episode offer small pieces of the story they dug up. They then decide on the one they want to hear about first, and then at the end of the episode, they vote for what they thought actually was the weirdest thing they learned that week.  This is one of my new favorite podcasts, and I think you’ll be a fan of it too.

No Such Thing as a Fish: This is a fun and addictive British podcast that is brought to us by researchers from Quite Interesting LTD. Every week, the researchers gather the most interesting facts, and then they meet to share and discuss their findings. It’s really funny and entertaining, and you’re learning while you’re listening. That’s a win in my book, and why I regularly tune into this podcast. I find it really good for road trips, because it’s a good mixture of comedy and random facts, so it makes longer trips much more interesting.

Curiosity Daily: This podcast will help you learn about the world around you, where episodes are short little knowledge bursts that are released every day. The hosts pick three different “curiosities” that can cover a vast array of topics that include culture, space, biology, psychology or health, and they relate it back to why it could be important or helpful to you. I’ve really been enjoying the things I’ve been learning from this podcast, and really recommend it to people who are short on time. Satisfy your curiosity with this awesome podcast!

This Week I Learned: Brought to us by The Week, this is another podcast whose episodes are a quick listen, but it’s full to the brim with fun facts, studies and other interesting things found on the internet. I really like this one, because it’s jam packed full of the most random but fascinating information. It’s also perfect for your short trip to work, and you’ll definitely learn something new while being entertained at the same time.

Know Nonsense Trivia Podcast: This podcast is very similar to a trivia night, where the two quiz-masters come together with their own questions and try to stump each other.  Episodes tend to be an hour in length or more, where the hosts are friends chatting with each other about their answers. They also throw in extra tidbits of knowledge and give out trivia how-to information. It’s definitely a more casual vibe then most of the other podcasts I’ve suggested, but I find it pretty entertaining and occasionally ridiculous (in a good way), and as a listener I feel like I’m participating in trying to answer questions.

Head on over to your favorite go-to app and check out these awesome podcasts! Let me know what you think by commenting below, or come find me on social media if you want to chat about what your favorite learning podcasts are.

A tech podcast in a list of science podcasts

I love podcasts; you love podcasts; your grandma probably loves podcasts. Looking for some science you can enjoy while your eyeballs do stuff that isn’t reading?  learn new stuff about any subject

Since people listen to podcasts instead of watching them, it forces listeners to use their imagination and build the pictures in their mind. Thus, people who listen to podcasts regularly have a stronger and more vivid imagination. Podcasts also help us become better listeners.

Podcasts are anything but relaxing for your brain. And while it's good for the brain to work hard, it's not so good for the brain to multitask. ... But listening to podcasts may slow you down even if your work isn't mentally demanding. Performance on purely physical tasks also falters when your brain works hard. Podcasts are perfect for storytelling. Podcasts are more popular now than ever. Podcasts are by and large offered for free.  it’s easy as can be to put in your headphones and listen to the latest episodes of your favorite podcast. Perhaps best of all, you’re able to tune in and out of a podcast. podcast episodes generally consist of conversations between two or more individuals.

Five Reasons To Listen To Podcasts

Have you discovered the power of podcasts yet?

It’s easier than ever to find, subscribe and listen to literally thousands of podcasts on every topic from news, arts, business, comedy, education, politics, sports, technology, music, health, spirituality, hobbies, and more. Podcasts are free (with very few exceptions). Podcasters create content and publish their episodes on popular platforms like iTunes, Google Play, Sticher as well as a variety of other podcasting directories and apps.

I prefer the built in Podcast app on my iPhone. It’s easy to use and familiar as it’s part of iTunes. If you use an iPhone and haven’t opened this app yet – give it a try and start exploring!

Other options for podcast listening include: Discover great podcasts

That's why I rely on podcasts, and why you should, too. So, why podcasts?

For these reasons, podcasts have moved to the very top of my list of the best life hacks of recent years. Whenever and wherever I have my phone, earbuds and a little time, I listen to programs that can broaden my perspective and grow my understanding of my job, my life and the world. Podcasts are entertainment and education rolled into one and tailor-made for my multi-tasking life.

Podcasts are also evolving; they've come a long way isince their humble beginnings in 2003. Technological advances and the ubiquity of broadband connections have enabled mobile apps to easily integrate players and stream podcasts almost anywhere. Regardless of the topic you’re hoping to learn more about, it seems there’s now a podcast for that. In fact, with 550,00 active podcasts on Apple’s app alone, and over 18.5 million episodes available, you’d be hard pressed not to find what you’re looking for. We seem to be wired to absorb what we hear, so when we listen to a podcast, we tend to listen intently. There’s potential in podcasts, and people are noticing it. Because you can listen to podcasts anywhere, they allow you to productively spend the time you spend, for example, while you’re going for a walk, driving to work, grocery shopping, or working out at the gym.

When it comes to podcast recommendations, there are plenty – below are some of our and our readers’ favorite ones. They’re enlightening and cover a broad range of niches, from startups to weird fun facts.

WHERE HANDS TOUCH MOVIE REVIEW, BLACK IN GERMANY, MOVIE REVIEW PODCAST, ...

IN THIS EPISODE I REVIEW AND SHARE MY REACTION TO THE MOVIE -WHERE HANDS TOUCH. IT SHARES A PIECE OF HISTORY THAT WE DON'T KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT AND YOU WILL DEFINITELY FIND IT INTERESTING. THERE IS ONE SCENE IN THE MOVIE THAT WAS VERY UPSETTING TO SEE. Germany 1944: 15-year old Leyna (Amandla Stenberg), daughter of a white German mother and a black father, lives in fear due to the color of her skin. When she meets Lutz (George MacKay), the son of a prominent SS officer and a member of the Hitler Youth - mandatory for all Aryan boys since 1936 - the two fall helplessly in love, putting both their lives at risk. An original coming of age story through the eyes of a bi-racial teen as she witnesses the persecution of Jews and those deemed 'non-pure'. -PER IMBD https://howtheydiditandwhy.com/ . https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpxm... https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast... https://open.spotify.com/show/6ZiFFBs... https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/how-... https://www.insta
